THE BRIEF
We were briefed to support the launch of Oxygen Freejumping trampoline park as it opened its first northern branch in Wilmslow.
We supported the opening of the park with targeted press and influencer outreach, leading up to two fantastic launch events, attended by over 300 people from the local area.
OUR OBJECTIVES
- Position the new brand of Oxygen in front of its target market in the local area
- Establish an online presence for the brand with local influencers
- Position the new location as the place to be for children’s birthday parties in Cheshire East
OUR SOLUTION
The Rumpus team made the decision that two separate launch parties would be the magic number to make some noise around the new venue. We made it our mission to ensure these events were attended by local press, influencers and notable groups from the community.
We spread the word through the delivery of trade and consumer press releases, as well as regional flyer drops.
The launch event took place on 19th October, across two sessions for different age groups. Our team was on hand during both sessions to welcome guests and generate vibrant and engaging content for future use.
We secured a visit from Dianne Bourne, Diary Editor at Manchester Evening News. Dianne covered the event in detail, sharing her experience of attending with her child. We also worked with a number of influencers, including Charlotte Dawson and Emma McVay, who share a collective 1.8M followers on Instagram. Both influencers attended and posted about the event with Charlotte referring to the park as “chuffin amazin!”
Our final launch strategy included:
● Press announcement to local media
● Arranging sponsorship with local sports groups
● Create partnerships with influencers local to the park
● Inviting local ‘mum’s’ groups
