Built on family values, Seddon has a track record spanning more than 120 years with a group turnover in excess of £200 million and over 750 employees. The company’s ethos is People Make Places –Seddon’s role is to build the spaces.

Rumpus works closely with Seddon’s in-house marketing team to identify the stories that put customers and people in the spotlight, in line with the company’s ambitions and culture.

What we did...

We engaged with all key stakeholders to ensure messaging is customer-focused, showcasing why projects have been completed, with People Make Places at the heart of all communications.

  • Achieved 120+ pieces of coverage to date in key publications to support developments, from planning to completion, including Construction News and Construction Manager
  • Attained high profile broadcast coverage, including BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat and BBC North West Tonight on Seddon’s flagship mental health awareness scheme, Jordan’s Conversation
  • Secured high level thought leadership and roundtable attendance for regional directors, including Unlocking Brownfield Land for Insider Midlands –a target publication for Seddon’s core growth area
  • Nominated for key industry awards, including Construction News Awards Health & Wellbeing Initiative of the Year
